This is something of a reiteration of an old photo I took on my iPhone (which I now realise I never shared it before on here) of this exact same Newspaper dispenser. They have a couple of them on Pearl Street, and I’ve always thought of them as iconic and interesting. When I was a child I would run over to them and look at the headlines through the glass. At the time, I was considerably shorter than they were and I thought they had to be the coolest thing ever – a box full of words.
